Takamine`s G series is dedicated to the production of budget friendly variants of already existing Takamine series and shapes. One such model is EG451DLX, a non-cutaway NEX shaped model. It starts off with a spruce top and maple back and sides. This model is available in black gloss finish with white binding and custom graphic on the black pickguard. The bridge is made of rosewood with white pins and saddle. Amplification is done through TP4T preamp with a chromatic tuner and on-board controls mounted on the side of the guitar. The neck features a dovetail joint positioned at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and is equipped with 20 frets and mother of pearl inlays. The list price for the Takamine EG451DLX is set at $879.
