Dreadnought is still the reigning king of acoustic guitars and is also the most dominant body shape in Takamine catalog. Dreadnought Series in G section is among the largest and most populous series of dreadnoughts in the entire series. EG340C is one of them and it comes with single cut body made of mahogany and spruce. Mahogany is used for back and side panels with spruce sound board on top. Mahogany has a strong low end and overall, it gives a lot of power to the sound. When it`s combined with spruce and quality made dreadnought body, few things can overpower that kind of beast. Top panel is bound in abalone, covered with black pickguard and decorated with abalone rosette. Preamp used on this one is TP4T. belly-shaped bridge and 20-fret fingerboard are both made of rosewood.
