EF407 is a part of the recently formed Legacy series and most of its (Legacy series`) current models were, in fact, members of the distinguished Nouveau & Santa Fe line. EF407 comes with a compact, non-cutaway body made entirely of koa. This NEX-shaped six-string is made with a standard-shaped rosewood bridge. It is fixed and comes with a two-piece string saddle. Also, a single-circle rosette adorns the sound hole. Gloss Natural is the only color option available, featuring multi-ply black & white binding and golden hardware. mahogany neck is attached at the 14th fret (classic dovetail joint) and topped with a series` standard 21-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Electronics department features Takamine`s pride and joy, the magnificent CT4B II preamp with a three-band EQ. EF407 comes with a hardshell case.
