EF37 is a dreadnought-shaped model from the Specialty Shop series made by Takamine Guitars. IT comes with single-cut design and acoustic-electric construction. TLD Line Driver preamp is featured in the electronics department of this model and it represents the most luxurious preamp option Takamine produces for it`s models. It requires no cutting of the body panels and also has no on-board controls. Body of this SPecialty Shop dreadnought is made of koa back and sides with spruce sound board. A fantastic combo, which is rarely seen due to koa`s price and availability. Multi-ply binding, tortoise shell binding and series standard rosette are featured on top. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a belly-contoured ebony bridge. Ebony fingerboard is equipped with a standard set of 20 frets.
