Synyster Gates of Avenged Sevenfold fame is Schecter`s premier signature artist. His line of Avenger-based guitars is the best selling signature line in Schecter`s catalog. It is the biggest one, as well. In early 2016, Schecter and Syn have joined forces to create two acoustic-electric guitars, which are aimed at metal players who like to play acoustic and unplugged. Synyster Gates Syn AC-GA SC Acoustic is a single-cut grand auditorium guitar made of rosewood (back, sides) and spruce (sound board). The neck is made of mahogany (C profile, 14th fret dovetail joint) and features a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top (synthetic bone nut, 16" radius, medium frets). Fishman Sonicore piezo pickup and Isys+ preamp form the electronics unit. Fixed rosewood bridge and Grover tuners complete this sinister steel-string axe.
