Omen Extreme Acoustic is a new model in Schecter`s acoustic guitars catalog. It belongs to the Omen family of models as it now encompasses electric guitars, acoustic guitars and electric basses. This Omen is actually an acoustic-electric guitar with a Venetian cutaway. the body on this model is entirely made of maple with quilted maple top. There are three color options available for this model: antique, vintage sunburst and black cherry. All of them are finished in gloss and bound in multi-ply pearloid binding. There are no pickguards on the top and the sound hole rosette is made of abalone and pearl. The bridge is an acoustic standard for Schecters, black painted diamond bridge with black pins and saddle. The electronics department is made up of Fishman Sonicore under-saddle piezo pickup with Fishman Isys preamp with on-board controls. The control panel is placed on the side of the guitar and features volume, bass, mid, treble and phase controls with a tuner with LED display. The neck is made of mahogany and attached to the body with a dovetail joint. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets and pearloid & abalone vector position inlays. 25-1/2" scale and Grover tuners wrap the spec for Omen Extreme Acoustic.
