C Cutaway model is an acoustic-electric variant of the C Laminadas model. Other than cutaway and single cut design, these two are the same. C Cutaway features electronics made by L.R. Baggs, which include an under-saddle piezo pickup and a preamp, both run by a 9v battery. Body of this model is made of rosewood and cedar. Rosewood is used for back and side panels, while the cedar is used for the top. Indian rosewood binding is applied around both the top and back panels. For the color palette of this model, Rodriguez opted for natural only. It is finished in gloss. Bridge section comes with a rosewood-made bridge with standard contour. Neck is made of cedar wood and it is topped with a 19-fret ebony fingerboard.

I have had this guitar for only one week. First impression: beautiful wood work, clean definitions, low action is nice, middle and upper is somewhat muted, with note clarity at a 6.5 or 7. Overall, great low price, easy to play, nice to look at, fun beginner guitar. If you can utilize the playing area, you can create some moderately cool sounds
