DR1000 is a dreadnought-shaped acoustic-electric guitar made entirely of carbon fibers and composite materials. This model has the honor of being a member in the original Rainsong lineup back in the 1990s. Back in the day Rainsong concept had next to no support, but it withstood the test of both the market and time. Some 20 years after, this model is still in the production with pretty much the same specs list. This single-cut dread is made entirely of carbon fibers. It has no bindings, no pickguard or paint job. All models from this series lack bracing underneath the fingerboard, as well. Bridge and fingerboard are made of composite materials with bridge sporting belly contour and fingerboard being equipped with 20 frets. Comfortable neck on this model is made of graphite and it`s bolted to the body.
