After many years of absence, Richie Sambora is finally back in the Ovation`s Signature Artist camp. His current signature line consists of only one model, a double-necked acoustic-electric dubbed Richie Sambora Super Shallow RSE225-5. The upper neck (when the guitar`s in the playing position) has six strings, with the lower one having 12 (that`s 18 in total). The body is a super shallow Lyrachord made of composite materials, with cutaways on both necks. The top is made of Sitka spruce and it rocks the Gloss Black paint scheme w/five-pointed star graphic between the necks. Both fingerboards have 22 frets, star inlays, and white binding. Also, they both have 25.3" scales. The electronics section offers two OCP-1K pickups, one OP 24+ preamp w/pickup toggle.
