Custom Elite is one of many series featured on the Ovation`s standard roster (there are also the super-affordable Applause models/series, as well as exclusive Adamas models/series). The current lineup of this series has only two models - Custom Elite Super Shallow C1868LX-1 and Custom Elite Super Shallow C1868LX-4. Both models come in with super shallow Lyrachord bodies (w/composite bowls, two-piece spruce tops, multiple offset soundholes, ABS//abalone binding), 25-1/4" scales, Ovation`s own electronics, and high-quality hardware. Custom Elite Super Shallow C1868LX-1 is available only in Sunburst (w/gloss finish, gold-plated tuners, abalone/ABS binding). Other notable features include a 5-piece mahogany/maple neck, a 22-fret ebony fingerboard, fixed ebony bridge, and die-cast tuning machines.
