It offers a huge range of acoustic-electrics made with a combination of classic Ovation features and exotic tonewoods. Collector`s Series Deep Contour C2078AXP-AC is on the Deep Contour side of the roster. It is a six-stringed acosutic-electric with Lyrachord cutaway body, glued-in neck (dovetail joint at the 14th fret), a 22-fret fingerboard (low E string has 17, high E string 22 frets), a standard 25-1/4" scale, and in-house electronics. The color palette is limited to African Chen Chen. Other notable feautres include a composite bowl (back/sides), spruce top w/African chen chen veneer, an ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, and die-cast tuners.
