Celebrity Elite series has two main tiers, the "regular one" just named Celebrity Elite and Celebrity Elite Plus whose models are the fancier version of the regulars. Basically, the only major differences are that "Plus" models have exotic tops and nicer decorations. Celebrity Elite Plus Super Shallow CE48P-KOAB`s main features include the gorgeous koa veneer soundboard (w/quartersawn scalloped X bracing, multi-wood epaulets around the offset soundholes, ABS binding), super-shallow composite bowl, Ovation`s own electronics, standard 25-1/4" scale, and chrome-plated hardware. Koa Burst is the official name of the only available color option. CE48P-KOAB also features a nato neck (gloss finish, 14th fret joint), a 22-fret fingerboard made of CITES-approved ovangkol, fixed bridge also made of ovangkol, and die-cast tuners.
