Ovation has carved their way to the top by staying faithful to the concept of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars with composite backs and sides. This concept also applies on CC245, an Ovation dreadnought with single cutaway design. This model is equipped with a high quality spruce sound board to complement the composite bowl which integrates back and sides into one. Sound hole on this acoustic-electric twelve-stringer is decorated with a single circle abalone rosette. CC245 is available in cherry sunburst color with gloss finish. Ovation`s OP-4BT preamp and Ovation Slimline pickup make up the electronics department. Bridge is made of walnut, while the V-shaped neck is made of maple. Fingerboard on this model is made of rosewood and it comes with 20 frets covered with small dot inlays.
