Adamas is Ovation`s premier series and 2088GT is one of it`s finest models. Ovation is known for the extensive use of composite materials and their own electronics. Adamas models are no exception to that rule. 2088GT comes with a contoured composite bowl in the back, topped with sound board made of carbon fiber, instead of wood. This twelve-stringer comes with a cutaway and acoustic-electric construction. Top panel is equipped with brown binding and Ovation`s signature wooden epaulette around multiple offset sound holes. Electronics are made by Ovation and include OP Studio Pro preamp with OCP-1 pickup. Bridge section is equipped with a decorative walnut-made bridge. Neck is made of maple, it is set-in and topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. Tuners are plated in gold.
