225 is a budget-friendly model from Maton Guitars. When it comes to the choice of affordable dreadnought with unique and quality tone, Maton 225 is a life saver. Thanks to the selection of Australian woods and full-sized dread contour, this model offers strong and characteristic tone. Queensland maple is used for the back and side panels, while the spruce sound board sits on top. Electronics are optional for this model. Regularly, 225 is fully acoustic, but if ordered, Maton installs AP4 pickup system. Neck on this model is made of Queensland maple and it is attached to the body with a 14th fret dovetail joint. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it sports Maton standard 21 frets with dot position inlays. Chrome-plated Grovers are installed on the headstock in three-a-side configuration.
