J12-16GT is a twelve string model from Martin`s 16 Series. The series is positioned below the Standard, but still aims to offer a genuine Martin experience. Optimum selection of solid tonewoods, mortise and tenon joints and X-bracing are the traits of the 16 series line. J12-16GT has a non-cutaway body made of solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides. It`s natural color is finished off in satin and complemented with black binding. The neck is made of hardwood with oval profile and set-in joint at the 14th fret. Black richlite fingerboard has 20 frets, dot inlays and 1.875" wide bone nut. The bridge on J12-16GT is also made of black richlite. The list price for this model is set at $1,749.
