Martin`s X series covers the lower portions of the market and is the best choice for players who want their first Martin guitar. It offers a wide variety of models to suit almost every player. DX1RAE is a slope shoulder dreadnought-shaped guitar with no cutaways. It is made of rosewood back and sides with a spruce top. Back, sides and top are all made of laminated wood. Bridge on this model is made of black richlite, which substitutes the ebony on budget friendly models. Fishman provides both the under-saddle pickup and preamp for DX1RAE. The neck is made of rust stratabond and it comes with oval contour. It is attached to the body with a mortise & tenon joint and topped with a black richlite fingerboard with 20 frets.
