DCXE Black is a model from Martin`s budget friendly X Series. This line of guitars is equipped with laminated tonewoods and mortise and tenon neck joints. DCXE Black is a dreadnought cutaway model made of high pressure laminated top, back and sides. It is available in black gloss with no binding and no pickguard. The bridge is made of black richlite with black TUSQ saddle. Fishman Presys preamp is equipped with a chromatic tuner and on board controls which are placed on the side of the guitar. The neck is made of natural stratabond with oval contour and set-in joint. The fingerboard on DCXE Black is made of black richlite and has 20 frets, no inlays and 1.6875" wide corian nut. The list price for this model is set at $999.
