DCPA1 belongs to the Performing Artist series made by Martin Guitars. This series serves as Martin`s alternative for the ever growing market of acoustic-electric guitars and increasing number of players who switch to them. DCPA 1 is one of the upscale models of the Performing Artist line and it comes with a beautiful single-cut body made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Beneath the sound board Martin installs modern bracing made of spruce and Fishman`s F1 Aura system with tuner. Electronics are controlled through a side-mounted preamp. For the optimum performance, Martin installs a standard hardwood neck with special Artist contour in the back, designed especially for the hard working musicians. This neck is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
