DC-28E belongs to Special Editions series in Martin`s catalog. It is the series for all Martins which don`t belong to any of the standard lines of the catalog. DC-28E is vintage styled dreadnought with a single cutaway construction. It`s back and sides are made of rosewood, while the top is made of spruce. The top features white binding, black plastic pickguard and triple circle rosette around the sound hole. Belly shaped bridge is made of ebony. Electronics department is made up of Fishman Elipse Aura preamp with an under-saddle pickup. The neck is made of a standard hardwood and it sports a low profile. Dovetail is the joint type which connects this neck to the body. 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1.6875" wide bone nut complete the fingerboard.
