With a price tag of $149,999.00, D-200 Deluxe is the most expensive model of C.F. Martin`s catalog. It was created to celebrate a huge milestone, Martin`s two-millionth guitar. Only 50 instruments will be made, with the #2,000,001 not being sold. D-200 Deluxe comes in with a non-cutaway dreadnought body, 14th fret dovetail joint, Pre-CITES tonewoods, RGM watches in the headstock (watches have the matching serial numbers as guitars), and the most intricate inlay work ever seen on a Martin. Core construction features include Pre-CITES Brazilian rosewood back & sides, Engelmann (bearclaw) spruce top, genuine mahogany neck (modified V profile), and 20-fret ebony fingerboard. Other important features include an ebony bridge, stainless steel label within the body, liquid metal bridge pins, and open-gear nickel tuners.
