16 Series is one of the series with more affordable solid tonewood models than the standard and custom series. Mortise and tenon neck joints and hybrid x bracing are also among the prominent features of the series. D-16 RGT is a non-cutaway dreadnought model with a body made of solid spruce top and rosewood back and sides. It comes in a natural gloss finish with white top binding. The neck is made of hardwood with oval contour and mortise and tenon joint. The fingerboard on D-16 RGT is made of black richlite and features 20 frets, white dot position inlays, 1.6875" wide corian nut and 16" radius. The bridge on this model is also made of black richlite. The list price for Martin D-16 RGT is set at $1,699.
