500 Series Series Electric Guitar by 'Jay Turser'
JTA550S comes from the 500 series of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars made by Jay Turser. JTA550 is a dreadnought-shaped guitar with non-cutaway design and non-electric construction. This fully acoustic dread is available in natural color with gloss finish. Back and sides are made of catalpa wood and combined with spruce top. Spruce is the favorite top panel option for steel-stringed acoustic guitars, for it adds clarity and snappiness to the tone, equally accentuating lows, mids and highs. On this model, this spruce top is bound in creme binding and covered with a black plastic pickguard. Belly-shaped bridge on this model is made of rosewood. NEck is made of mahogany and it comes with a dovetail joint. Fingerboard on this model is made of rosewood and it is equipped with 20 dot-marked frets.
