Performance series aims at players who are looking for professional features and traditional design. Also, PF models come at a fraction of the price one would otherwise have to pay for such quality. Like the Artwood series roster`, PF`s is dominated by dreadnoughts.
PF17ECE is an aacoustic-electric dreadnought guitar. It comes with a cutaway body, in-house electronics, in-house hardware, full25-5/8" scale, and classic PF styling. Natural Low Gloss (w/low gloss finish, chrome hardware, and black plastics) is the only available color option. Core construction features include a laminated mahogany body (back, sides), two-piece cedar top, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard (20 fretes, dot inlays, 1.69" nut).
Major hardware & electronics appointments include a fixed rosewood bridge, die-cast tuners, and Ibanez pickup/preamp unit.

For the price that a had payed it is an excellent guitar. My only issue would be getting new strings as soon as i bought it and a higher action than i would've liked but otherwise an excellent and reliable guitar
