Natural High Gloss
AE series launched last year at NAMM and is, again at NAMM, updated. 2017 NAMM brings us a trio of middle class acoustic-electrics with complete body integrity, modern design and modern construction. All three 2017 AE models, including this one, are only available in natural colors.
AE500 starts off with a single-cutaway AE-shaped body. It is made of rosewood back and sides and spruce top. Multi-layered binding, triple circle rosette and tortoise pickguard decorate the body. The neck is made of mahogany and it sports the series-standard Advanced Comfort profile in the back. The neck`s topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with cutom-designed inlays.
Important hardware and electronics features include Gotoh SG301 tuners, Ibanez T-Bar under-saddle pickup and AGP10 external preamp unit.
