Tim Armstrong is one of the most renowned guitarists in Fender`s acoustic line of signature models. For years now, Tim`s Hellcat models have graced Fender`s catalog and this time around, one Tim Armstrong Signature Deluxe model is being introduced. This is the left handed variant. Tim Armstrong Signature Deluxe Left Handed comes with a non-cutaway concert contour. This one is acoustic-electric and it`s body is made entirely of mahogany. Laminated mahogany is used for back and side panels, while the solid mahogany is used for the top. Sound board is decorated with creme binding, 4-ply tortoise shell pickguard and classical rosette. This model is available only in natural color with satin finish. Bridge section features a regular belly-contoured bridge, made of rosewood. It has a compensated bone saddle. Electronics department features sound hole pickup system provided by Fishman. It is Neo-D Sound Hole system. Neck on this model is made of maple and it comes with satin-finished back. Also, the dovetail joint is set at 14th fret and fingerboard on top is made of rosewood. 20 frets, dot inlays, 11.80" wide radius and 1.77" bone nut complete the fingerboard. Hardware is plated in chrome and scale is 25-1/3" long.
