Fender is one of the biggest manufacturers in the industry and also one of the most respected brand. It is respect that`s earned every single day with every new model over past six decades. Fender also maintains one of the most extensive and versatile catalogs in the business. Electrics, acoustics, acoustic-electrics, folk, amplification and more can be found within the ranks of the catalog. For 2013 edition of the catalog, Fender updates the high end of the acoustic range with Collector`s Custom series. It has five models with custom paint jobs done by three young artists. Sara Ray is one of them and her Pulp Novel Auditorium is one of two models she painted. This auditorium comes with a single-cut body made of mahogany back and sides and spruce sound board. All body tone woods are solid. Bridge is made of rosewood and sports the standard belly contour. Fender installs Fishman`s Matrix Infinity pickup system. Bracing under the sound board is made with scalloped forward shifted pattern. Mahogany neck features soft V contour in the back and a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood on top. Grover tuners and 25-5/8" scale complete the specs list.
