Pro Custom series is one of two new lines of acoustic-electric guitars introduced into the Acoustic Custom Shop for 2013 NAMM. Both the Collector`s Custom and Pro Custom offer exclusive acoustic-electric models with dreadnought, auditorium and newporter being the main body contours. Collector`s Custom has five models, while the Pro Custom has for. Two models from Pro Custom are Kingman dreadnoughts, one auditorium and one newporter. Pro Custom series price tags vary between $2,600 and $3,900 and Kingman C is the basic model of the series with $2,6660 price tag. It comes with a non-cutaway dreadnought body made of mahogany back and sides with solid spruce sound board. Body and neck are both bound in aged white and gloss finish. The only color option available for this six-stringed Kingman is Fiesta Red. Bridge section is a standard one for Fender`s Acoustic Custom Shop, it`s equipped with a rosewood bridge with bone saddle. Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup system is installed in the electronics department. Maple neck is equipped with a vintage C contour and it`s topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. Vintage Fender tuners with nickel plating, 25-5/8" scale and Stratocaster headstock complete the specs list.
