Newporter is a model from the USA series and it is one of the most luxurious steel stringers in Fender`s current production. USA series is, also, a line of exquisite acoustic-electric guitars with only the best that Fender has to offer. Body of this orchestra guitar is made of mahogany in it`s entirety. Solid mahogany, which boosts the tone and projection of this guitar off the scale. Top panel is bound in aged white binding, equipped with a checker-board rosette and finished in gloss. Bridge is made of rosewood and electronics area sports Fishman`s Sonitone system. Bridge on this Newporter is made of maple and it comes with a regular C contour. It is attached to the body with a 14th fret dovetail joint. Rosewood fingerboard has 20 dot-covered frets.
