Fender has a long tradition of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars which dates back to 1950s and '60s. Back then, just like now, they are recognizable for their distinctive necks and headstocks. Fender`s USA series acoustic-electric guitars are premium class models with top shelf materials and hardware. Kingman C is the new flagship of the line, it`s a non-cutaway dreadnought made of mahogany back and sides with solid Engelmann spruce top. Aged white binding and modern plastic pickguard adorn the flat top of this model. Kingman C comes in vivid fiesta red color with glossy finish. The bridge is made of rosewood and features white string pins with bone saddle. Electronics come from Fishman and consist of Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup with a preamp. Controls section features volume and tone controls. The neck is made of maple and features vintage C contour. Upon the maple neck, rosewood fingerboard is installed. It is equipped with 20 frets, white dot inlays, 1.70" wide bone nut and 9" radius. Other features on Kingman C include: forward shifting scalloped X bracing, Stratocaster headstock, dual action truss rod and nickel plated hardware. The MSRP for Kingman C is set at $2,660.
