FM-52E Mandolin is a model from Fender`s Folk Music Instruments series of acoustic instruments. It includes mandolins, one violin, banjos and resonator guitars. Great majority of American brands maintains a section of the catalog dedicated to traditional instruments. FM-52E comes with an A-styled body made of laminated nato back and sides and laminated spruce top. The top panel is bound in white and finished in gloss. Also, the top is decorated with a pair of "f" holes, on on the either side of the bridge. Bridge is made of ebony and it`s paired with a trapezoid tailpiece. It features a compensated saddle, as well. Neck is made of nato wood and it is set-in. Fingerboard on FM-52E is made of rosewood and it features 21 frets with dot inlays. Neck pickup is a single coil, and it comes with master volume and tone knobs.
