The Alternative series offers a small range of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars which compete in the lower intermediate and beginner sections. The current lineup has five models, with two of them being 3/4 travel-sized six-stringers. FA-15 3/4 Steel is the steel-string option (while the FA-15 3/4 Nylon is the nylon-string option). It rocks a non-cutaway body made of laminated sapele back & sides and laminated agathis soundboard on top. The neck is made of nato and features the 12th fret dovetail joint, as well as the modern Fender headstock with 3+3 tuners arrangement. The color palette is limited to Natural color with a gloss finish and chrome hardware. Other important features include an 18-fret rosewood fingerboard, a fixed rosewood bridge, and die-cast Fender tuners.
