Epiphone`s Round Shoulder series has the same function as the Round Shoulder series in the Gibson catalog, and it encompasses dreadnought guitars with slope-shoulder design. AJ-200SCE comes with single cutaway variant of this design. Back and side panels on AJ-200SCE are made of mahogany, while the sound board is made of spruce. Top panel is bound in multi-ply binding and equipped with black plastic pickguard. Belly shaped pickguard on this model is made of rosewood. Electronics department is equipped with Nano-Flex under-saddle pickup and side-mounted eSonic preamp with volume and tone controls and a tuner. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it sports C contour. It is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1.6875" wide string nut wrap the fingerboard specs.
