Independent series is one of the smallest in the catalog, but nevertheless, it offers some great guitars. Tradition Florentine - AK48 is a grand auditorium shaped guitar with single cutaway design. Cutaway is, as the name suggests, a Florentine one and it looks quite refreshing compared to the vast majority of Venetian cutaway-equipped guitars. It`s back and side panels are made of ash, while the top is made of spruce. Gloss finish, black binding around the top, black plastic pickguard and triple circle rosette complete the top. Rosewood bridge comes with a standard Dean shape. FTE-3 preamp is paired with an under-saddle piezo pickup. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features C contour. It is topped with a fingerboard made of rosewood which features 20 with dot inlays.
