Performer Series from Dean are oriented towards the gigging musicians who use acoustic guitars as their primary weapons. Performer Koa with Aphex is a cutaway model from this series with a body made of koa top, back and sides. It is available in natural gloss with black binding around the top. The bridge is made of rosewood with Dean`s recognizable triangular shape. The amplification includes Dean DWC-Aphex Aural Exciter pickup and DMT I2EX preamp with tuner. Controls are mounted on the side. The neck is made of mahogany with a c shape and set-in joint. The fingerboard on this model is made of rosewood with 21 medium jumbo frets, split pearl block position markers and a NuBone string nut. The MSRP for Performer Koa w/ Aphex is set at $634.
