Performer Florentin QA is a model from the Independent series by Dean. It comes with a grand auditorium shaped body with a single cutaway design. The cutaway is, as the name of the model suggests, a Florentine one, which is not as frequent cutaway style for acoustics as it is Venetian cutaway. Back, top and sides on this model are made of quilted ash. Cherry Sunburst color option is the only one and it is finished in gloss. Bridge section on this model features a triangular bridge made of rosewood. In the electronics department Dean installs under-saddle piezo and FTE-3 preamp. Neck is made of mahogany and it is equipped with a set-in joint. Upon this neck a rosewood fingerboard is installed and it comes with 21 frets with dot inlays.
