Exotica series is one of the most populous within the Dean catalog. It encompasses models made of exotic or luxurious types of wood. Exotica Select is a grand auditorium model with single cutaway construction. It`s back and sides are made of maple, while the top is made of quilted maple. This model is available in sunburst color with high gloss polish finish. Also, the top panel does not feature a pickguard due to it`s outstanding beauty. Abalone is used for both the binding and rosette. Bridge section sports a rosewood bridge with a standard Dean shape. In the electronics section, Exotica Select features DMT I2NR 4-band equalizer with tuner. Set mahogany neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 21 frets, abalone hourglass inlays and synthetic bone nut complete the fingerboard.
