AXS Dreadnought 12 String is one of the most affordable 12-stringed acoustics out there and it comes just in time for 2016 NAMM where it will be officially unveiled next to the rest of the renewed AXS line. It is a simple, straightforward twelve-string guitar with price tag set at super affordable $199. AXS Dreadnought 12 String comes with a non-cutaway dreadnought body with full-scaled neck (25-1/2" scale, just like the rest of the AXS models) and simple design. Entire body (back, sides and top) is made of laminated mahogany. Two-ply binding around the top is the only decoration besides the dean logo and wings featured on the headstock. The neck is also made of mahogany. It features the standard C profile in the back and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Jumbo-sized frets, dot inlays and plastic string nut complete the fingerboard. AXS Dreadnought 12 String is a fully acoustic model without any type of electronics installed within or on the body. Fixed bridge is made of rosewood and features plastic saddle with black string pins to match the rest of the hardware. This low cost AXS is the perfect learning tool for players who want to try out a twelve-string but don`t want to spend a little fortune in the process.
