With the ubiquitous dreadnought becoming synonymous with steel-stringed acoustic guitar, some manufacturers took on themselves to provide quality alternatives. Cort is one such manufacturer and the Luce series is its answer to the omnipresent dread. The current lineup consists of twelve amplified and non-amplified models, with L900P-PD being one of the latter. L900P-PD comes in with a parlor body, a short 24-3/4" scale, and vintage styling. It also delivers a powerful tone, a bit unexpected for an axe of its size. Main construction features include paldao back & sides, a solid cedar top, a traditional 12th fret neck joint, and vintage hardware. Vintage Sunburst is the only available color option. Other notable features include a mahogany neck, a 19-fret rosewood or ovangkol fingerboard, rosewood/ovangkol bridge, and Grover tuners.
