Only the most skilled and most experienced of Cordoba`s luthiers work on Espana series models. All models cost above $1,000, with some of them fetching near $3,000 (all prices are official MSRPs, not retail prices). 55FCE Negra - Macassar Ebony is one of Espana`s premier models. It starts off with a single-cut body (Macassar ebony back & sides, solid European spruce top, fan bracing), Fishman (Prefix Pro Blend) electronics, and premium-class hardware. Natural (w/gloss polyurethane finish, gold hardware) is the only available color option. Other notable features include a Spanish cedar neck, 19-fret fingerboard made of ebony (side dot inlays, 25.5" scale, classical frets), and classical tuning pegs.
