S3-N is a model from the Studio and Stage series made by Boulder Creek Guitars. It comes with a brand-characteristic body construction. Top is made of solid wood, sides are laminated and back is solid. Within the body, Boulder Creek replaced the x bracing concept with their own design, the suspended bracing pattern. For S3-N`s body mahogany is used for back and sides, while the sound board is made of cedar. There are no electronics on this model, whatsoever. Creme binding, tortoise shell pickguard and triple circle rosette decorate the body and are matched with gold-plated hardware. Neck on this model is made with 14th fret dovetail joint and it`s topped with a 20-fret fingerboard with dot inlays and 1-11/16" string nut.

Ive been playing for 40years and have had many gits,its what I do.This is my fav guitar.Beautiful,antique looking,cedars are beautiful acoustics for flat pickers,strummers,and of course finger stlyle.I have a Larrivee d-10,Baden,Rainsong,Babicz,Blueberry amongst others.This is the git that always ends up in my lap and I cant over empathize how much I love it thats why 5 stars all the way.Looking for a brighter sound go with spruce,this is bold and rich with tone and the bracing system really opens it up and dont have to worry about top warping.Customer service is outstanding.I will never sell this guitar.
