ECR2-V is a model from Boulder-Creek`s Solitaire series. This series offers guitars made for players, not the audience. Boulder Creek`s luthiers have realized that players spend most of their time practicing and, basically, playing for themselves, so they moved the sound hole from it`s usual place to the side of the body. Now it`s facing the player, instead of the audience. Also, characteristic for all models of the series is the use of solid wood on the back and top, while the sides are made of laminated wood. ECR2-V features rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board. AB4-1 electronics are featured on this model. Fingerboard is equipped with a standard set of 20 frets with dot inlays and 1-11/16" wide string nut.
