ECR1-B is a part of the Solitaire series of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars made by a young and very progressive Boulder Creek brand. This California-based company has single-handedly revolutionized the construction of the standard steel-stringed acoustic guitar. their secret is the feature they call suspended bracing. It keeps the sound board intact, ditching the sound hole to the side of the body. Instead, a set of aluminum rods transfers the tone throughout the body and eliminates the feedback, the acoustic guitars are notorious for. ECRB-1 is a single-cut dread with mahogany back and sides and a spruce sound board. Piezo pickup under the rosewood bridge is paired with the side-mounted ABR-1 preamp system. Mahogany neck is attached at the 14th fret and topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
