MBA-52-G is a model from the Award series made by Bedell Guitars. Award deals with Bedell`s intermediate and upper intermediate models. This series has the MSRPs set well above $2,000. Considering the entire market, these price tags are not that high, but Bedell makes them with outstanding level of skill and quality. This non-cutaway steel-stringer is equipped with Fishman electronics, Matrix system of pickup and preamp, to be exact. Natural color is the only one available for this model and both the body and neck are finished in gloss. Body is made of spalted mango back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Bridge is made of ebony and it features a synthetic bone saddle. One-piece maple neck is topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard. Grover tuners are plated in black.
