As a subsidiary brand of Ovation, Applause serves the same purpose as Epiphone serves for Gibson, it offers budget friendly instruments, based on parent company`s catalog. AE35 is an acoustic twelve-stringer from Applause`s AE series. It comes with a regular Ovation/Applause shaped body with non-cutaway design. composite back bowl is mandatory, while the top is made of spruce on this one. Creme binding, glossy finish and elegant sound hole rosette wrap the top panel features and give it classy looks. Bridge section is equipped with a standard shaped rosewood bridge. Though known for their acoustic-electric guitars, Ovation and Applause opted to go fully acoustic with this twelve-stringer. Set maple neck sports rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets with dot position inlays. Chrome hardware and 25-5/8" scale complete the specs list.
