AE127 is a model from the Applause AE series. It features the series standard construction and design, along with the high quality Ovation electronics. AE127 kicks off with a single-cut body made up of a standard composite bowl and a solid spruce sound board on the top. This combination was tested, tried and approved on countless occasions in past several decades. On the top of the ivoroid bound sound board, Ovation installs a standard rosewood bridge. Instead of the characteristic multiple sound holes, AE127 has only one placed in the center. Ovation`s OP4B preamp is installed on this model. It features all of the standard controls plus the chromatic tuner. Neck on this model is attached through the 14th fret dovetail joint and has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
