PJ85SCDVS is a model from the Professional series from Alvarez catalog. Professional is the intermediate series of the catalog and it represents a sort of a bridge between Masterworks series and the entry level series. These models are made for players who are not able or willing to pay huge amounts of money for a quality acoustic or acoustic-electric guitar. Back and sides of PJ85SCDVS are made of rosewood, while the top is made of spruce. Top on this single-cutaway jumbo is bound in maple and herringbone and finished in gloss. Bridge is made of rosewood and equipped with a standard shape. Electronics section is equipped with 600MkII preamp with side-mounted control panel. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it features 20 frets with a custom 12th fret inlay. Gold-plated hardware wraps the specs list.
