Jazz & Blues series is one of the most recent developments in Alvarez catalog. It brings a range of electric and acoustic guitars oriented mainly towards the traditional blues and jazz players. The electric section is made up of three models - two semi-hollow, and one fully hollow model. The acoustic section, on the other side, has eight models - two Blues models and six Delta models. Blues51E is an amplified parlor guitar, made for the bluesers who want to take their music to the stage. It offers a non-cutaway body (rosewood back/sides, solid A+ Sitka spruce top), mahogany-made neck (12th fret dovetail joint, semi-gloss finish), 18-fret rosewood fingerboard (12th fret inlay, 1-3/4" nut, 24-13/16" scale), LR Baggs pickup/preamp system, and open-gear tuning machines.
