Among the steel-stringers, it is accompanied by three more lefties (AD60L, ABT60L, AB60LCE). It belongs to the tier 70, the second highest which features steel-stringed models. The non-cutaway parlor body (made of laminated back & sides, solid top), rounded neck (attached at the 12th fret), short 24" scale, and stock Alvarez hardware comprise the main features. Forward-shifted scalloped X bracing pattern is employed beneath the hood. The MSRP for the Natural-finished option (AP70L`s only color option) is set at $579. Other important features include rosewood back & sides (laminated construction), solid Sitka spruce top (grade A+), mahogany neck, 18-fret rosewood fingerboard (1-3/4" bone nut, 12th fret custom inlay), rosewood bridge, and die-cast tuners.
