Artist series` tier 70 brings one of the classic tonewood combinations - rosewood and spruce. Rosewood is used for backs and sides (laminated construction), while the Sitka spruce is used for tops (solid construction). Like the rest of the Artist models, 70s sport forward-shifted X bracing to help harness the full potential of a solid top. AP70 is a fully acoustic parlor model, made with flat-top body, rounded neck (attached at the 12th fret), short 24" scale, and chrome-plated hardware. The MSRP for the Natural option (the only currently available color option) is set at affordable $559. Other notable features include rosewood back & sides, grade A+ Sitka spruce top (w/abalone rosette, ABS binding), 18-fret rosewood fingerboard (1-3/4" bone nut), die-cast tuners, and characteristically shaped rosewood bridge.
